About the Author

Mukul Kumar

Mukul Kumar is a bureaucrat, poet and novelist. He belongs to the 1997 batch of the Civil Services. An Indian Railway Traffic Service officer, he is at present working in New Delhi. He has studied Humanities from Delhi University, graduating from Kirori Mal College. He has also studied Public Administration at the prestigious Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.

He has been honoured with the National award for outstanding service to the Indian Railways .

His written works include two novels, ‘As Boys Become Men’, and ‘Seduction by Truth’, and two poetry anthologies titled ‘The Irrepressible Echoes’ and ‘Catharsis’.

Mukul Kumar has been honoured with Bharat Nirman award, 2020 for literary excellence by Bharat Nirman Foundation, and Poorvanchal Gaurav samman for contribution to society as a bureaucrat and an author.
